911 Call Center Upgrades Cut Wait Times

The City of Atlanta is investing in its E-911 operations. New technology at the 911 Communications Center is helping to improve caller and operator experience, while reducing wait times. In addition to investments to recruit and retain qualified personnel, the City is directing $15 million in funding to modernize the Center as part of the Moving Atlanta Forward Infrastructure Package.
